Michala Todd is a young 14 year old from Tottenham, Ontario.
She has been training vocally for seven years, and has performed at a number of venues including charities and community events.
She is currently collaborating with local songwriters, and has recorded five original songs, and is working towards producing an album this year.
Not only does Michala have a great passion for music, but also her talents as an actress have captivated audiences.
She has participated in the productions of Once Upon A Mattress and Copacabana at the Orangeville Music Theatre, and
Bye-Bye Birdie at the South Simcoe Theatre, as well as in a variety of school productions.
She is very excited to be participating in the production of
Cinderella
at the Theatre by the Bay.
Michala's dream is to someday display her talent to the world.
Prince
Alex is a grade 11 student at Barrie Central Collegiate.
He is happy to be making his debut with Theatre by the Bay in this years production of
Cinderella's Summer Adventure.
Alex has been involved with musical theatre in and around Barrie for three years now.
He has done shows with South Simcoe Theatre, Kempenfelt Community Players, Onstage Performance group, and Barrie Central Collegiate.
Favorite rolls include; Doody (Grease) Tevye (Fiddler on the Roof) Mr. Brookes (Little Women) and Moody McPherson (Anne of Green Gables).
Alex is looking forward to a great summer, and hopes to see many familiar, and not so familiar, faces at Cinderella this summer.
Fairy Bear
This is Micky's first year with Theatre by the Bay.
He has been acting in Alliston for the past five years, and has now decided to take on the theatre life in the city of Barrie.
He has acted in many plays at Banting Memorial High School like
The Princess Bride as Vizzini, and
Good Night Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet as Iago from Shakespeare's Othello.
He plans on continuing his acting career for the rest of his life, and is
grateful that Theatre by the Bay is giving him the opportunity to start living out his dream professionally.
He now takes on the hilarious role of The Fairy Bear and hopes to entertain and impress the citizens of Barrie with his great character acting and comedy skills.
Fairy Godmother
Chelsea is so excited to finally be a part of a Theatre by the Bay production.
Her past experience includes: Sandy in St. Joan of Arc's production of
Grease, Dorothy in St. Joan of Arc's production of
The Wizard of Oz, Prissy Andrews in South Simcoe Theatre's
Anne of Green Gables, Ursula Merkle in South Simcoe Theatre's
Bye Bye Birdie, and she was a member of Talk is Free Theatre's youth mentorship program
Small Talk for two years.
She has also taken vocal lessons with Renee Cingolani for about 7 years.
She is currently in her first year of a Psychology Major at Western University in London, and is so thrilled to come home and perform in Barrie.
She would like to thank her family for their constant support, and Larissa and Carla believing in her and casting her in this absolutely fabulous role!
Stepsister (Agnes)
Kimberly Cleversey is a grade 11 student at Barrie Central Collegiate.
You may have previously seen her in Barrie Central's production of
Fiddler of the Roof as Golde.
She was a part of Kempenfelt Community Player's,
Seussical the Musical as the Sour Kangaroo, as well as Bear Creek Secondary School's production of
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
as the Narrator.
Kimberly has been taking vocal lessons from Jenn Bodle for over four years and has participated in various competitions for piano and voice.
Kimberly is thrilled to be working with Theatre by the Bay for her first time. Enjoy the show!
Stepsister (Doody)
Leanne is ecstatic to be back for her second season with Theatre by the Bay.
Leanne played the role of Sleeping Beauty last summer in TBTB's young company show, and is looking forward to playing the antagonist this year.
Favourite roles include: Jo March in
Little Women, Sleeping Beauty in
Sleeping Beauty's Summer Adventure, and Kim MacAfee in
Bye Bye Birdie.

Leanne currently trains vocally with Renee Cingolani, and practices the performing arts under the training of Joy Bainborough.

Footman
Stephen is thrilled to be back at Theatre By the Bay this summer and is excited to be working with friends both new and familiar.
A fantastic program at Holly Meadows
Elementary School introduced Stephen to musical theatre at the age of 8 and he has been hooked ever since.
As well as being involved in everything his schools have done, Stephen has trained and performed with Strolling Youth players/Joy of Performing Arts Academy, has worked with Scott A. Hurst in South Simcoe Theatres
Anne of Green Gables and has performed in Kempenfelt players
Tales of Andergim, Music Man and many more productions.
Most recently Stephen was seen as the butler Rogers in
And Then There Where None.
Stephen put on an air of sophistication quite contrary to his role as Windy WooWoo last summer in Theatre By the Bay's
Sleeping Beauty's Summer Adventures.
Great to be back at TBTB!!
Stephen would also like to thank Susan Cowan, Scott A. Hurst, Joy Bainborough, Larissa Mair, Carla Tucker and the many other amazing directors and teachers he has worked with, especially Gigi.
